During our stay in Crete this summer, my friends and I decided to go sightseeing in Knossos and Heraklion too. After a while, we felt like tasting something refreshing and delicious somewhere in the town. While approaching the old Venetian port we spotted a nice terrace slightly hidden in the street on our left.
The Restaurant Ladokolla is worth discovering its original interior; for example cutlery-like droplights, swimsuit hanging from the ceiling in the restrooms, colourful walls inside, etc. All of these, together with a skillful chef, make Ladokolla a must for everyone who wants to touch real Cretan savour. We personally really appreciated grilled Halloumi cheese for appetizer and then chose some of the dishes with fresh fish of the day. To conclude, the waitress was obliging and service fast. We all do recommend Ladokolla to every single tourist who may feel like a gourmet there.
