Sure this place was first class with regards to archaeological artefacts, but didn't find it first class as far as museum experiences go. Room guards were overly critical, rather than engaging or helpful, quick to reprimand children for being too enthusiastic and talking in anything other than hushed tones about the exhibits. Whatever you do, don't think of going too close to the glass cases! The children's activity/guide booklets mentioned on their website were also 'out of print' on the day we visited. I understand that these artefacts are treasures, and that's a serious matter they might consider beyond children, but the children of today are the ones who will have care of these artefacts tomorrow. That enthusiasm and knowledge needs fostering now!!
