Our son recommended this place from a visit he made last year with his girlfriend. Set by the harbourside in Chania with great views we were welcomed by Chris, who guided us through the menu and gave some great advice (do try the Amber award Retsina - delicious). The restaurant promotes organic produce and the quality stood out. We had hummus (rarely seen in Crete) which was the only dish lacking a bit of flavour (more garlic please!), mussels in wine, cheese pies and Cretan sala. All were excellent.
Background music takes a bit of getting used to (jazzy), but once you relax it fits the atmosphere.
Free raki followed (a bit early at lunch, but hey, we're on holiday!) and lemon/coconut pudding - very nice.
