On arrival of our room (101) my husband and i were quite surprised at how small the living area was, its saving grace was the balcony and although the apartment is modern and tastefully decorated we did feel a little claustrophobic but having said that we were not there to sit in the room all day. Upstairs was clean if a little cramped but we managed the space okay.

We didn't see the other rooms but i am sure we must have got the smallest one. Christina is very helpful and super nice and gave us good recommendations of restaurants and bars in the area.

This hotel is in the best part of the old town in a quiet street and we enjoyed the walk to the centre of the old town which took around 10 minutes, the best restaurants are also located near the hotel and its where most of the locals come to eat.

All in all a well presented hotel in a good location but if possible see the room first!

Room Tip: Try and book a suite as they look much larger

This hotel gets high marks on the majority of the attributes that I consider most important when looking for accommodation. Its location is very convenient, that is very close to the old town and the harbour, yet in a quiet little road, away from the noise. The rooms are clean and modern, plus the two-levels' loft arrangement is a nice touch. Comfortable bed, with soft mattress and pillows to ensure a good night's sleep. Plus, the kitchenette was adequately equipped, although I personally prefer the buffet-style breakfast. If I ever revisit Chania, chances are that I'm staying there again!

Our first impression of this hotel was great. We were received well by Anna, she took quite an effort to orient us about the harbour, things to do and the restaurants in town. She's really friendly and pleasant to talk to. She even walked with us on her way to the Central Market and treated us to some yummy Greek coffee at a cafe enroute!

The tricky part came with the room. The lower level is great, but the upper level with the bed got stuffy at times because of the low ceiling. Generally speaking, it's good for a trip where you'll be out most of the time. What really put me off was the bathroom. It's tiny and ours had a musty, dingy smell about it from the get go. The exhaust didn't seem to help and the smell would just add to the stuffiness upstairs. The shower curtain was sweeping the wet floor. The next day when we were heading out, I requested they clean the bathroom in particular or even just spray something, but when we returned nothing was done. Anna's great and I would assume she intends to do the right thing, so maybe this was just lost in translation.

With that said, I have to admit though that I had the best sleep of my trip here! Not sure if it was just coincidence or the mattress :)

As for the location, it's a little off the main harbour area, but we didn't mind walking up and down. There's a little grocery store right next door, so there's no problem with finding water or snacks until almost 10PM in the night.

This was the accommodation we booked for the first part of our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. We had a warm welcome from Anna and even the opportunity to choose between two rooms for our stay. The rooms were all newly completed and modern. The shower had a curtain which in Greece is not common but makes all the difference in my opinion!

The kitchenette was suitably equipped with the bare essentials and things like washing up liquid, filter coffee pouches and pegs for hanging clothes on the balcony. And the rooms and communal areas were kept brilliantly clean.

All in all a great place to stay in a lovely location in the old town.

I would like to thank Anna who welcomed us on our first day in Chania Crete. We arrived early afternoon on the 4th of May and were very delighted when we went to our room. It was beautiful and just what we needed. The room was huge, (105) and very modern. I could not fault anything.
The area was just perfect. Away from all the noice but next to the harbour and old town.
I cannot fault anything as everything was just perfect. I will definately be visiting again and look forward to another great holiday.

Room Tip: Room 105 is the best!!!

We booked this hotel for 2 nights whilst travelling around Crete ... But on arrival immediately booked for an extra 2 nights ! It's location is good, nearby free parking and literally 50 paces from the harbour and the buzzing town life. The building itself has been tastefully and professionally restored to a very high standerd. The bathrooms an kitchen area are modern and work !! The shower is fabulous ... Yes ... A fabulous shower in Greece! There is also a very good and filet coffee machine. Even enough fresh coffee provided on arrival ... Along with lots of other little goodies like sweeties, nibbles, a welcome drink and nibbles, along with emergency bathroom supplies (important stuff) The decoration is modern, tasteful and relaxing ... The pictures do not do this place justice ;) ... We stayed in room 101 ... Haha ... And I didn't want to leave ... The loft style arrangement if these rooms makes excellent use of the space and they rooms feel large And airy ... But also have effective blinds and mosquito nets for those all important afternoon naps. The bed in comfortable and the pillows are soft and luxurious ...and freshly changed every 2 days. I simply cannot reccomend this hotel enough ... I have stayed in many places throughout Greece and this is probably the best hotel yet! ... Also, there is now free wifi available. Thankyou so much for making our stay in the beautiful town of chania comfortable, welcoming and very memorable.
