We visited the restuarnt after reading reviews on here, however we left a bit disappointed.
The owner was friendly and took time to explain the menu, service was slow for this reason.
We also found it odd that he brought out one of our main courses while we were still eating the starter to show us and then left it. The other main course arrived a full 10 mins later which was a bit strange. Apart from the aubergines with raisins the food wasn't amazing, we also found it expensive compared to other places in town.

We've visited the restaurant due to the great reviews at tripadvisor, and the restaurant exseed our expectations. The chef and owners is a warm, welcoming guy, with deep understanding for both Greek and vegetarian cousin. We had 6 courses, all of them were delicious and reveal different aspect of the Greek and Cretean cooking.

It is an adventure for all visitors (not only the vegetarians) don't miss.

i like the restaurant and the owner was nice and friendly. The food wasn't amazing, is just a vegetarian restaurant. For instance moussaka with soya was ok but a bit heavy. i found it also a bit expensive compared to other places in town. anyway we enjoyed the experience!

Stelios really cares about what he offers and this shows in his dishes. I am not usually into vegetarian food but this could change me ! The aubergines with raisins were a real delight along with the stuffed vegetables. Service is a little slow as Stelios spends a lot of time explaining each dish before you order, everything is great and he gave us a fantastic desert wine with our bill. Get there early as it gets very busy quickly in the evening to be sure of getting a table outside.

My friends and I stumbled upon to Stachi while wandering around chania trying to find a place for dinner. We saw the "slow food - organic - vegan" sign and our interests were piqued. When we walked up we were greeted by who we now consider our Greek Grandpa who was the friendliest man I've ever met! He is so passionate about eating well and keeping his customers healthy and satisfied. He went thru the whole menu with us, letting us know what he had fresh that day and made a wonderful spread for us. The deliciousness kept coming! Everything was fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place to any and everyone!
