It was our first visit to Crete and the Chania Flair was perfect for what we wanted for our stay. The hotel itself is adults only and luxurious. All of the staff are very polite, helpful and attentive. Breakfast’s are fabulous, offering a selection of pastries, hot food to order and fresh juice and fruit, with table service which was a treat in itself!
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant with a la carte dining and bar service so was perfect for our after-beach beer with views of Crete’s gorgeous sunset.
The hotel is situated just outside the old town but within easy walking distance along the coastal road to go and get a bit of Greek culture and history. In the other direction we could walk on the beach.
No fighting for sunbeds on the beach either - the hotel has its own that you can book at reception linked to the Häagen-Dazs cafe.
Location is also great for local restaurants - fresh fish in abundance.
We didn’t venture far this time as we just needed the week to recharge our batteries, and the Chania Flair allowed us to do that.
