It is seldom that one encounters a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with complimentary champagne; the check-in was completed on the sofa where we were having our drinks. Communication from the hotel had been impeccable and we were met at the airport by a courteous hotel employee in a Mercedes-Benz.
The rooms (we had a junior suite with partial sea view) are very large and every amenity, every modern comfort is part of the experience. No expense has been spared to choose the best materials. Everything is electronic, including the curtains. Bedding and bathroom were impeccable. We had a sea view from our double shower, possibly the best shower we have ever had.
The hotel offers a small roof top pool, small sauna and gym - in addition to a dedicated area in the beach in front of the hotel, with complimentary plush beach chairs.
The included breakfast is à la carte and every item imaginable is prepared on the spot in a large open kitchen. Everything is of the highest quality.
Service throughout our stay, throughout all areas of the hotel is flawless. With only 34 rooms, the staff treats guests like family. All staff is truly exceptional and it is hard to single out any of them, as they were all perfect. Still, a special mention is warranted for Mr Manioudakis of the bar and breakfast areas who served us champagne upon arrival and refused a tip later in the day for room service, saying our smile is sufficient.
We were offered parting gifts and it felt as greeting friends with "see you next summer" rather than "good-bye."
