“really good food”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

Nice looking place, with chillouting jazz music, medium service and a very good food. Today, we took snails as an apetizer, which actually was the bad choice. Snails were not tasty. But the rest was really tasty. Grilled lamb with youghurt and pineapple was PERFECT. Lamb from oven with potatoes was very good as well (maybe a little bit too fatty). Karnagio is a place worth of trying

Tasteful meal, simple ingredients but of the best quality, nice atmosphere. When simplicity means perfection.

“Karnagio has everything but the view”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

So, let's gets past the view and focus on the important stuff: the dinner. The view is the parking lot in front of the outside dining area. Done. Now to the food.
A tasty eggplant spread stated my dinner, followed by fried sardines which met the only two qualifications for excellence: the sardines be fresh and the frying oll be clean. Both were.

I was brought into the kitchen to inspect and choose my fresh fish. Opening the ice draw, I choose a rouget (red mullet) and a sea bream (think red snapper texture). The waiter weight them and told me the price. They were cooked to retain their moisture, which met the only cooking requirement for a delicious dish. Add a Greek rose' wine and the dinner was a success.
Now, if the owner would only surround the outside with some potted trees, flowering bushes and vines, the parking lot would disapper, and your vision would be as rewarded as your palate.

“Average”

Looked very promising and cute from outside. Lovely bougainvillea, jazzy music. Service very matter of fact, mistake with order. Food basic.

“Charming outdoor setting with average fare”
Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Karnagio's setting is a picturesque one with the honeysuckle draped over outdoor trellises. The food is pretty standard fare - the usual Greek mezzes and assorted items from the sea. We started with some kofta, which were a touch over-cooked. The red and brown breem that we chose - on the basis that those were pretty much the only fresh seafood options - were decent but nothing spectacular.

Worth a visit for the setting and you'll get a good meal but nothing exceptional.
