Cleverly and stylishly converted to maximise the use of space: kitchen, dining and bathroom on ground floor, lounge with small balcony on first floor, bedroom and bathroom on top floor. Excellent location in Old Town, just round corner from Splantzia Square and a few minutes walk to the Old Harbour. Argyro, the owner, was exceptionally welcoming, generous and hospitable - ask to see the photos of the property prior to conversion. Good for long or short stays. Highly recommended.
We arrived on a day that the road was blocked for an event. Manolis came to pick us up and drive us to the house. Upon arrival we found a welcome wine, raki, homemade pastries, fridge full of goodies like eggs, bread, jams etc. The villa is exactly as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked with espresso machine, kettle, dishwasher, the amenities were more than enough (coffee capsules-greek coffee, sugar, tea etc). It consists of 3 floors with the kitchen and one bathroom (washing machine as well) on the first floor, on the second floor you can find the living room with a smart tv (Netflix-youtube, internet) and on the 3rd floor we had the bedroom. The bed is from the company Cocomat -which for me is the best bedding company in the world- and the 2nd bathroom. The villa is situated in the historical center of Chania in a very convenient place. Keep in mind that parking can be of a challenge during summer time and that this is to be expected. Generally in Greece parking can prove to be difficult and especially in touristic places. The owners know their business and they do it with love. They were calling us on a daily basis to give us hints on places to visit (without intruding) and things to do which was greatly appreciated. They are the type professionals that will go out of their way to please you and offer you a stress free vacation. These are the type of service people that stand out and make you want to go back there again and again. I am a hospitality person myself making it easier to appreciate good service and I can say that they are spot on. If I would ever go back to Chania, I don't see myself entrusting my vacation to someone else. Thank you Manolis and Argiro, I am wishing you the best of luck and please do not loose your hospitality attitude, that is what will always distinguish you from the rest of the competition.
We loved our stay at Casa Regina. It is a beautiful property in the heart of Chania with close access to restaurants, nightlife and scenery. Argyro was very accomodating and helpful and the attention to detail at this place made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
