“Nice Hotel, Breathtaking View!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

Located in the middle of Delphi. Outstanding location! My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel and it was clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We were on the second floor balcony of our room and the view was nothing short of spectacular. The very small TV did not work, but then again we don't watch much TV when we travel, so "no big deal". The hand held shower in the bath tub virtually flooded the bathroom floor and went partially into the room. This could be easily remedied if someone were to take an interest in fixing it. A very inexpensive fix. The breakfast buffet was OK, certainly nothing special, with minimal options. Having said that, overall it was good and we would stay again on a short term stay.

Room Tip: 36 rooms. Be sure to get a room on the back side with a balcony. The view is spectacular!

Fascinating how the Delphi hotels extend down from the main floor. Out rooms had views over the valley, with decent bathrooms. I hope they'll soon get around to replacing the mattresses, which were oldish.

High spot was the restaurant, which produced delicious versions of interesting dishes: boor in sauce, great dolmades, etc.

Centrally located, family-run hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and very clean rooms.
We stayed at the family room (two adjacent spaces, no door, though) at the upper floor; a quite spacious room with an AMAZING, breath-taking view!
Top floor was quiet (probably not much populated) but friends who stayed at the lower levels complained of noise- thin walls.
Breakfast was quite decent and constantly refilled;
The hotel is within walking distance from practically every place in Delphi, including the museum and the archaeological site. (If you visit Delphi by car, though, you might find difficulties in parking it close by...)
Overall, great value for money- we will come back!

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with a view at the valley.

Stayed on the top floor and had amazing views. The room was comfortable. We stayed in a three bed room that had two rooms and one bath. Pretty basic accommodation, but had what we needed. Buffet breakfast was nice. We also utilized the lounge areas. The view from our room can't be beat so I would recommend this hotel.

we stayed there last weekend. very helpful staff, average rooms and the best view. some rooms need to be renovated. Breakfast had variety and the buffet was refilled all the time. for a one-night stay is more than OK... value for money is high though.... Delphi archeological site is on foot, Arachova for night life is 5' by car, Parnasos Kelaria is 20' and Itea... is also 10 minutes by car!!! enjoy

Basic accommodation with amazing views. We stayed here as part of a tour and were surprised to stay in such a nice hotel. The view of the valley was unexpected and beautiful. The staff were friendly also. Delphi was a quaint little town which was nice for quiet coffees and eating. Travelled June 2011.

For a very reasonably priced hotel in Delphi, the Hotel Hermes is a good choice. You will want a room at the rear of the hotel with a balcony as you will have one of the best views you will ever get in a hotel.The rooms are basic and a bit worn but overrall, this is a great value

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear with a balcony and a view.
