we stayed there last weekend. very helpful staff, average rooms and the best view. some rooms need to be renovated. Breakfast had variety and the buffet was refilled all the time. for a one-night stay is more than OK... value for money is high though.... Delphi archeological site is on foot, Arachova for night life is 5' by car, Parnasos Kelaria is 20' and Itea... is also 10 minutes by car!!! enjoy

Basic accommodation with amazing views. We stayed here as part of a tour and were surprised to stay in such a nice hotel. The view of the valley was unexpected and beautiful. The staff were friendly also. Delphi was a quaint little town which was nice for quiet coffees and eating. Travelled June 2011.

For a very reasonably priced hotel in Delphi, the Hotel Hermes is a good choice. You will want a room at the rear of the hotel with a balcony as you will have one of the best views you will ever get in a hotel. The rooms are basic and a bit worn but overrall, this is a great value

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear with a balcony and a view.

Stayed here for an overnight before going to ancient Delphi. The room and hotel itself are a very clean three-star place. The owners are friendly and they stayed up until I returned from dinner and drinks (it was the off-season and no other employees seemed to be around that night, they locked up afterwards). I had a room on the side away from the street which is a recommended choice since the view from the balcony in the morning is really nice. Breakfast was Continental and was good. Location is good since there are several restaurants just down the road to the east. Since the hotel is on the west side of down, ancient Delphi is only a 10-15 minute walk away. If you have your own car like me you will have to hunt for a spot since there is no dedicated parking but at the time of year I visited that was not an issue. I would recommend this place for folks who are looking for a comfortable value.

Room Tip: The side away from the street has excellent views from the balconies.

Recently stayed 1 night in Hermes Delphi... Really like the view from the balcony, overlooking the Mountain, Valley & Bay, throughly breathtaking. Its a authentic hotel with clean room. Good breakfast. 1 small thing to take note: I have paid the full amount online before hand. But they almost charge me again on arrival until i showed them my credit card bill as a proof of my payment.

We stayed here for only one night to visit the Delphi ruins. It was a great spot. Comfortable rooms at an affordable price. And, a lovely view of the mountains and ocean below!

The breakfast was so-so (only hard boiled eggs and bread, no fresh fruits or vegetables).

All in all though, a great spot.

We received a warm and friendly welcome at this family run hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable with superb views. This hotel was recommended by friends for our weeks stay in Delphi. Breakfast was simple but adequate with more superb views from the breakfast room. The local restaurants are above average for a tourist location.

Room Tip: Look for a room above the entrance level overlooking the valley towards Itea.
