Hotel Acropole Delphi
Ranked #6 of 25 Hotels in Delphi

My family of 3 stayed in the Acropole Delphi for one night when we visited the archaeological site at Delphi. We wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was of ample size with three comfortable beds (thankfully no rollaway) and a private porch with a spectacular view. The manager referred us to an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance. The archaeological sites were about 1/2 mile away and by staying overnight we could get there early in the morning before the tour buses arrived. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and identifying the constellations as they appeared.
The hotel is very quaint and nicely decorated. Everything in the hotel is spotless. Breakfast was pleasant with lots of different options including Greek yogurt with honey or marmalade, freshly cooked eggs, a variety of breads and pastries, muesli, meat and cheese, olives, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The only possible negative is that the shower stall was small and a bit cramped for my 6 ft. 4 inch tall husband. But, that is a common problem in many European hotels.
I would love to stay in the Acropole Delphi again.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for a room with a view, especially a private porch

Centrally located hotel, very friendly staff. If you come from athens you have to go through the entire village to get a one-way road on the left side to get back to the hotel. There is no parking, but we had no difficulties in finding a spot a little higher up. If you have heavy luggage drop it before going for the parking!
The rooms are impeccable and have a gorgeous view on the Corynthian gulf with a sea of olive trees before the real sea.

Room Tip: 3rd floor is reception floor - but was not noisy during our stay. Try to have a higher floor if avai...

Staff great, very good buffet breakfast, gave two rooms for family of 5 for the price of one...and as many others have said, the view is jaw-dropping. A bottle of good Greek wine while sitting on the terrace and looking down the delfi valley to the ancient port, is a memory...

The fifth hotel on Cosmos tour, one night B&B. There are spectacular views from Delphi, the tour guide eulogised about this on the way there and also emphasized that this hotel not only had these views but was much a like skiing hotel in its décor. Anyone having a room with a view, which really is very good, would probably go along with this, those like us who didn’t can take a more pragmatic opinion. The bedroom is small and cramped with a pine panel ceiling – which depending on your view is like a ski chalet or something that went out of fashion in the 70’s. We had no fridge and only one power point that meant charging phones and cameras had to be done on a rota through the night. There was a small TV with “snow” on the picture and a permanent crackling on the sound. Good points were the beds were comfortable enough, the air con (which was the same as the first hotel we stayed in) worked well and although we were overlooking a street is was quiet. The bathroom was tiny. We are not big or overweight people, it could be a problem for those that are. The seal in the cistern did not work which meant water kept running after it was flushed, I advised the receptionist who came straight away, took the cover off and wiggled the mechanism about a bit until it sealed – I could have done that myself and in fact did so after every flush so that we could use it again. The shower was very small and the waste pipe was either partially blocked or was not sufficient to deal with water input. Unfortunately turning down the pressure on the shower was futile as the shower head had a ring on it that hung from a hook on the wall – water pressure had to be turned up enough to force the shower head back enough for the water to spray over you… turning it down meant the water just dribbled down the wall. As we were there for only one night I did not bother to report this or the fact that I had to keep adjusting the cistern. Breakfast was limited choice and not that good. To be fair the staff were friendly and if you have a room with a view the rest would probably pale into insignificance.

A few steps from the main drag on Delphi, very reasonably priced and with spectacular views of the valley below. I wished for some feta cheese at breakfast to go with the olives, but this is an excellent bang for the buck.

We had a room with balcony and it was already a joy sitting there and looking acros the valleys with olive tres and the Corinthian Gulf beyond.
The room was small, but clean.
Staffwas kind, helpful. Breakfast was sufficient, with e. g. famous greek yoghurt and honey.
But:mind the edge between elevator and floor. I did not, fell and broke my pulse. Greek taxidriver was very kind, helped through the hospital and soon I had my hand secured!
I like the Greeks!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with view and balcony

Nice and friendly family-run hotel. Stayed in their triple room for 3 days. Room was on top floor with stunning views of the mountain. Good-sized balcony with couple of chairs and table. Shower needed some maneuvering to avoid getting the floor soaked. Hotel was convenient to the area's main drag and the archeological sites.

Room Tip: Ask for room on higher floor with mountain view
