I have rated this as an average overall, but if there was a "good" option, I would have chosen this. Not happy to upgrade to "very good" though.
Good points:
Nice decor in reception
Clean rooms
Clean sheets, towels, and complimentary shampoo etc
Comfy firm beds
Good price and value for money
Area isn't great (although that could be said of most of Piraeus, and one of the most expensive hotels is just 100 meters away), its a slightly run down commercial area, which at night is quiet,
I probably wouldnt have felt totally comfortable walking around alone.
Our lights in the bedroom didn't work, but only received the suggestion that we should look for the dimmer switch as it may be off. Didn't work but was too tired, to go back down to query further.
Our room was at the back on the fifth floor (501). We kept patio door open all night as we couldnt work the air conditioning, and there was a degree of traffic noise all night, but as expected.
The odd thing was the decor. An awful lot of mirrors.
Add this to the fact that the two receptionists were "babe'd up" in tight matching t-shirts made it feel a little kinky perhaps!
Overall, for 30 Euros for a double room for a night, we were reasonably satisifed.More
