“Great find in a neighborhood of bad restaurants”
Reviewed August 1, 2014 via mobile

This place is highly recommended. It's completely different than the terrible places nearby in the acropolis neighborhood. No one stands outside throwing a menu in your face.
The food is excellent. They know how to prepare pasta here. It is a good break from typical Greek meals. The house wine is great. Desserts are terrific. The server is like out of a romantic movie. She's friendly, beautiful, and professional. Not overly inquisitive, just nice.
It's a very good place to eat in Athens anytime of the year.

“Lovely Owners, Lovely Place”
Reviewed July 20, 2014 via mobile

Came at 8:30 pm (very early by Greek standards), and had the place to myself. My first three hours in Athens, and I was made to feel at home. A lost American backpacker came in and the man actually took his apron off and walked him to where he needed to go. Meanwhile the woman (who spoke English well) taught me my first Greek phrase (Thank you - ef-cal-ees-toe).

The daily special salad was a fantastic mix of oranges, dried figs, arugula, and avocado. Ravioli in sage was okay, just a bit bland for my taste. Others might find it subtle and lovely, who knows? As you can tell, I adore the place and highly recommend.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

Highly recommended by people who know about this sort of thing so we descended on a quiet April evening. The service was excellent and discreet and the food was divine. The smoked trout salad is particularly recommended and the carbonara as Italian as it is possible to get. Good house wine and great company made for an evening that will be remembered for a long time. Just around the back of the main street by the Acropolis and well worth a visit.

“A great disappointment!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

A small, italian resto just a walk from the new Acropolis museum.
I confess that it was suggested many times so there we were.
The atmosphere was average, a little noisy as for the food, a great disappointment.
Ordinary plates that had nothing to offer and of course overpriced.
I can't find any reason why I should return.

“Hidden gem!”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

Lovely friendly trattoria tucked away in a very untouristy area of central Athens serving delicious and authentic Italian inspired food to a mostly local clientele at a very reasonable price. We stayed two nights around the corner at the Athens Gate hotel (also recommended ) and only regret not eating there both nights.
