“Dinner”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

The food was great as always. The quality is very good as well as the offered dishes ideas. Frendly and effective service. Nice people and atmospheric ambience. Excellent wines and drinks. What else to request for a cozi night out in the centre?

“A classic must but....”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

I do agree with almost every other opinion. Good food a bit pricy, famous crowd , nice atmosfair, allwines by the glass....but that glass. The same glass for all wines red or white and not a fair enough. And the forks and knives are the cheapest in market, they must have have them 30 years now. But we still go 1-2 a year. They just must do something to show that they respect the clients.

“When they say crispy...it should be crispy!!!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Very kind people snd very helpful. however I dint think that the taste was thst good...We tried the crispy duck snd the mpiftekia. The duck wss not crispy and looked like leftovers from the previous table. The mpiftekia was "hospital style" with lack of salt and most propably prefried fries.
Definitely not worth it!!! Too expensive for what we tasted...

“Skip This Restaurant”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

A much hyped restaurant in Kolonaki that does not live up to its billing. First off, when we walked into the restaurant, there was an unkept man sitting on the steps picking his teeth with his toothpick. He looked like a dishwasher who was on strike and I presumed was a living poster on display to advertise that this is not a classy restaurant.

The meal starts off with a raw carrot stick and one mushroom cut in half drizzled with olive oil and pepper. This does not present a wow factor and the man with the toothpick was more intriguing. The menu is a hodge-podge of spring rolls, pasta, sushi, escargot, fish, chicken on a brick and wontons. The only thing I didn't see were hamburgers and fries. Needless to say, none of the food is that impressive. The crowd is a typical upscale Kolonaki crowd that needs to feel privileged but clearly have no idea what they're eating.

The worst part was that the restaurant was non-smoking but everyone was lit up. The final straw was when a table next to us broke out cigars. While leaving, we told our hostess why the no-smoking policy was no implemented to which she replied "if you tell us, we will tell people to stop smoking". Yeah right. I told her that's like telling these people to pay their taxes and then expect them to do so. She had no response and was only perplexed that someone would object to smoking in a non-smoking restaurant.

This is definitely a restaurant to avoid and its better to try an authentic Greek restaurant in Plaka or one of the other better restaurants in Kolonaki like Malconis.

“Cozy restaurant with delicious food”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

One of the oldest restaurants in Athens known for its "hard to book tables". Dishes to definitely order are the green salad with pistachios, tuna or salmon carpaccio, baked potato, shrimps saigon, the black cod, the steak, and many others - pretty much everything on the menu is mouthwatering. The restaurant itself is very cozy with a nice choice of music always playing - both a place for couples date as well as for a night out with friends.
