Very informative. Was smaller (in terms of exhibits not building size) than I expected. Managed to see everything within ninety minutes. If you are a student remember your I.D as you get free entry!

“Built to amaze people!”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

Huge museum and huge content is the best words to describe this museum. You can find a lot of finds from the Acropolis area and information about it, which culturally is very rich. Modern and well designed, this museum makes the visit easy and not tiring.

When you walk down the stairs from the street to the museum entrance, you can see the Acropolis reflected on the museum glass in a perfect alignment. Points for the architects! The second floor has a café and balcony from where you have a great view to Acropolis.

“Beautiful museum and very educational”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The Acropolis Museum is a must see attraction if you find yourself in Athens. Sitting at the base of the Acropolis, when you walk up to the main entrance of the museum you suddenly realize you're walking on see-thru glass and looking at a working archaeological site below the museum! Absolutely amazing! So much to see and learn inside the museum so plan plenty of time. From the 2nd floor balcony outside the restaurant you can gaze up at the Acropolis. A wonderful museum all the way around!

“Worth the ticket!”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

The museum was one of the few attractions open on the day we visited and definitely worth a look. They have a beautiful facility with all kinds of relics to enjoy. They even have a coffee shop and wifi. Enjoyed this museum and would recommend this as a starting point to you Acropolis tour.
