So much ancient history here. Well displayed.
Easy to move from area to area, well lit. Terrific restrooms.

The building itself is an architectural wonder! Lots of light and beautiful views of the Acropolis. On the last floor you have a movie room that shows a movie of the Acropolis, but behind is a smaller tv that shows a mini documentary -grand theft of Parthenon treasures- a must see!!!

A new and stunning architecture building to this museum. There is a glass floor which you can see the archeological life , which is right under the new museum building
It was very interesting to see how they live back then

Why are the "Elgin" Marbles still in UK with this magnificent, world-class museum fully in place and ready to receive them? There is simply no excuse. I am a museum curator from a major US institution and this is one of the best-constructed, best-interpreted museums I've ever visited. No surprise there. Return those marbles, colonialists. They are not yours.

Adjacent to the eastern side of the Acropolis, this museum presents pieces of the Parthenon and others, explaining the images presented and their significance. Background videos are also provided. The setting is a spectacular way to show off these antiquities and replicas.

Two cafes are on site. Note that photos and cellphones are prohibited in many areas, and this is strictly enforced.

Nice building and good concept but otherwise quite underwhelming given the subject matter and possibility of what could’ve been done

This is a fantastic museum that centres on the Acropolis but is built over an active site that will be open to the public before very long. It was a shame that there are parts of the museum that don't allow photography. The explanations for the exhibits are excellent and are in both Greek and English

I loved that this museum is built on stilts over historical ruins that you can see through glass portions of the floor. There are several levels with artifacts thoughtfully laid out. There is even a small auditorium area that plays a video on the history of the acropolis which is next door. Definitely recommend this place to any Athens traveler.

It is somthing else. Impresive!!!
Before visiting I heard both, good and, let's say, not so good reviews. For me it was an Experience with capital "e".
