A "must visit" and "must see" for all the people!!! Amazing art through the centuries and a civilization that cannot be unrecognised. The ancient Greeks were far beyond their time!!!

The museum really highlights the beauty and the value of the Acropolis, a unique and top-notch archaeological destination.

This museum has many artifacts to see with great statues and is very informative of how Greek life was in the beginning.

If you are in Athens don't miss visiting the Acropolis Museum, it's one of the best ancient museums in Europe with a modern touch.

you have to go here after visiting the Acropolis - absolutely amazing stuff. shame you cant take pics everywhere inside? but understandable. give back the marbles - doesnt make sense for them to not be here!! and the outside cafe with views is lovely and fairly reasonable. skidding pidgeons are funny too!

We have visited Athens before, but this was our first visit to this museum. It is a beautiful building with striking views. We learned so much by watching the excellent video presentations at the museum.

Nice place to visit if u r interested in Greek history. Museum Chronicles the origin of the civilization, Greek-Persian wars and eventual taking over of Greek religion space by Christianity. Don't miss the ruins over which the museum is built. The glass floor of the museum gives you a sneak peek into the same.

This is one of the best archeology museums I've ever visited. The layout gives you a strong physical sense of what appeared where on the Parthenon. It's easy to quickly grasp the history and the importance of various aspects of the structures. Several videos in multiple languages give you a quick overview. Spend a couple of hours here and you'll get so much more out of your visit to the actual site. Otherwise, you definitely need a guide for the site. TIP: The museum is open at night and a lot less crowded.

Decent, relatively new, walking distance from Acropolis.
You can certainly see the effort that was put to built it however it is hearbreaking to see so many pieces e.g the Parthenon marbles missing. I hope they will be returned. You need a good 2-3 hours to see it and has a nice cafeteria.
