Lets clarify that i always book a table in the upper floor which is much nicer than the basement (better tables, atmospheric, more quiet, no hurry). Also i should note rarely order sushi there (there are better places nearby in my humble opinion).

Given that, everything i have ordered was from decent to excellent. My personal favorites are noodles and meat dishes (duck, beef) and the mushroom starter.

The prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful (fluent in greek and english).

During weekdays no reservation is required, but on weekends better reserve in advance.

In summary, its a nice place (esp. the 1st floor) with some very nice dishes in the centre of Athens, which makes it ideal for a dinner before visiting the nearby bar scene.

Their food is truly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
A bit overpriced but still something you have to try even once during your stay in Athens. Especially their fried sushi which is their own recipe and the duck is a winning plate in my book.

Not too much variety, but you have the usual suspects (bulgogi, bibimbap -no dolsot, kimchee and daenjang jigaes). You even order a bowl of spicy beef soup (aka yukgaejang). We got spicy squid (ohjinguh bokkum), bibimbap, spicy beef soup and a bowl of rice (rice only comes with jiggaes). Food was really good. I think some of the veggies in the bibimbap needed more salt, but it was good. The kimchee was ok, but i havent had kimchee in over 4 months so I ate all of it up.

Found this restaurant not 100 metres from Syntagma Square. Excellent ambience - small but friendly. Good service. Can't comment on Korean food, since the last Korean food I ate was over 50 years ago in Bangkok. Now I'm vegetarian so didn't go fe\or any meat or fish dishes. Had the vegetarian noodles and the vegetable spring rolls. The blonde (cf AA Gill!) had chicken noodles. Both completely satisfied. Had I not been veggie, I would have gone for the sashimi (imagine! Sashimi in Greece!) but no longer eat such delicacies. Not over expensive - comparable with prices in fully Greek restaurants. Tried the Korean rice wine - very mild, but also low cost!. Totally recommended.

Found this one by accident, and from first sight that I saw Korean businessman eating there I bet it should be pretty authentic. It is!

The daenjang jiige soup is a must along with the cap jae & kimchi. Good old rice tea for drink.. And not only korean food there's also japanese. Tempura udon you can't complaint, however I do need to praise the miso soup..excellent! Too bad didn't have the space to try their sushi.

Prices are reasonable good. Recommended for a change!
