It is the breathtaking view I ever had by night in the world, you may see the whole Athens and the Acropolis. The service crew provided a top of the world experience! The food was great.

Breathtaking view! The food and wine were both excellent. Definitely the best meal we had in Athens - not sure that some of the other reviewers actually ate in the restaurant rather than the grill/bar. Service was good until we tried to pay and leave - it took 40 mins and we still hadn't had the bill after multiple requests so we left money and walked out. Apparently all their tills and computer systems went down, but they didn't tell us that. Had they done so we would have grabbed a menu and added it up for them.

Lunch was excellent with modern take on traditional Greek dishes. Service was attentive and it was a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon. If you are walking be prepared for the walk up to the funicular, you deserve your meal afterwards! For a window seat you should book ahead. The views even on a cloudy day were spectacular across to Aegina.

As others have said, the draw for this place is the amazing view. We ate there recently on our first night in Athens and that view alone helped to set the stage for a great vacation. Even if you don't go to this restaurant, treat yourself and go up to Lycabettus Hill - the experience of seeing all of Athens will be one you won't forget.

The setting of the restaurant itself is very nice and the service was very good, although the servers were not as warm and inviting as we found in other locations across Greece. The food was just ok. The plates were nicely presented, but most of the dishes were just too heavy handed...too rich, too salty or too whatever. I had the grouper cheeks and while the fish was tender, there was a distinct fishy taste that indicated perhaps it wasn't as fresh as it could be and it sat upon an almost inedible lemony risotto that was just too dense and rich to go with such a delicate fish dish.

We didn't expect to have the meal of a lifetime at this place, but the view more than makes up for the food. So, totally recommend the place for the view of Athens at sunset into evening - but recommend you choose simpler dishes.

To reiterate what others have already experienced: It is a truly amazing view. The food is rather indifferent. The service is spectacularly appalling! There is obviously a major problem in the dynamic of the service team but we were too enthralled by the view to attempt a deconstruction. Caveat emptor!
