...We had no plans for dinner and we were wandering around the Acropolis museum area (what a lovely walk...). We were hungry and remembered all the nice things we had read about this restaurant. We decided to give it a try. And it was more than worth it. It was almost full, we had no reservation and they welcomed us with courtesy. The menu was so tempting we did not know where to start from...We tried the "kritharoto"with 3 kinds of mushrooms, the small burgers with the aubergine puree, a green salad, the home-made potatoes and I do not remember what else! The wine list had excellent local choices. We were offered masticha liquor and a dessert when we asked for the bill...small gestures that win the heart (and the stomach...)
One small improvement I suggested also to the maitre and she kindly acknowledged and told me that it will be soon taken care of: the bathroom facilities need to be a bit "restored". It was very clean, do not get me wrong, but in need of a touch that will make it worth belonging to the rest of the restaurant
