Not an easy to find place, on a back street with only a small sign and up a winding staircase, but well worth seeking out.
Their menu is all traditional Greek ingredients but with some unique combinations, a perfect antidote to the standard classics turned out by most of the restaurants on the tourist streets.
The staff speak good English and are helpful and attentive.
The prices are reasonable for very high quality food.

Great place in Athens. Near the Acropolis. Owner and staff very friendly and English speaking. Wonderful food. We stumbled on it and ate there both nights in Athens.

When tired of typical touristy restaurants with classic Greek dishes: find yourself a spot at one of the Manh manh (‘mani mani’) tables. You’ll be served by very kind waiters, who bring you great dishes combining Greek roots with culinary touches. The decor is fresh, trendy but honest, the prices are very moderate (for example: together, we paid € 65 in total for a self-picked three course ‘menu’ starter-main-heavenly desert and drinks, and felt nicely stuffed in the end!). The neighbourhood might look as a ‘downer’ location, but this is basically how a typical Athens-area looks like, and the view or experience you get from the restaurant (located on a second floor or high first floor) feels very ‘loco’.

Worth the good spot on TA, the recommendation in two of our guidebooks (Lonely Planet and Routard I think) and… a second visit!

Traditional greek food with modern touches. Modern decor. 'Clever' name. This restaurant had all the warning signs that it would be a disappointment. And was I wrong!

The food was excellent, technique was impeccable (the fish was perfect), the combinations and novelties used by the chef were great. Service very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

I think this will be my no.1 suggestion for any foreign friends visiting Athens and searching for a nice dinner in the center! Only minus is that parking is difficult in the area (plan to use Metro or pay for Parking space).

This by far was the best meal I had in Greece and there were plenty.

The saganaki, cheese filled pastries, were great entrées. Also had a really beautiful lentils.
For the main my pick was the roasted pork which was absolutely delicious.
