“Great Location, hope to come back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2011

Lovely hotel with a great location, just 10 min walk to plaka. Each room has a unique decoration so every room was different (we where a 5 pax group).
We had a great stay, and hope to come again in the future.

Being in Greece for the first time, this hotel made us feel like welcomed and made me fall in love with Greece Perfect place in the middle of everything" Great hotel just a short walk of all places. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern but at the same time classic and give a feeling of luxury. Bed was excellent, coco-mat material, best I have ever slept. Breakfast was also great, lot of choice and fresh fruits every morning. Plus comes also from free internet and computers in free use. The hotel was very near Acropolis and Temple of Zeus and the restaurant area of Plaka. The shopping street is also very close walk away. Al thought hotel is located side quite big street, inside hotel there is quiet and no noise comes inside rooms. I think it was perfect value for the money :).

The pictures of the hotel both exteriror and interior that you find on the internet are not excatly what you would expect when you arrive. Yes the hotel looks nice but is in a very average looking neighbourghhod. The rooms are clean but small and certainly not what is shown on the website. The hotel on the inside is very old. We were very dissapointed.
The staff were very unenthusiatic and hardly smiled.

A big duplex room with 2 soft queen beds and 2 single beds on the upper level! We have not seen any elevator, but check if there might be one. Positive impression for the high level assistance deserved to guest by the receptionist and for the rich breakfast (avoid coffee that can be rated the worst ever tasted).

Very small dusty rooms. The pictures of the hotel which we've seen on the site are far from reality. The staff were indifferent and not helpful at all. Very poor breakfast.
I don't know, who is writing all this "great, perfect , beautiful " reviews, but except of location we did not find any correspondence.
We enjoyed our stay in Athens, but will never be back to this hotel.

We stayed in the big family room. There were two twin beds in a loft, 2 double beds, and space for a rollaway! The hotel is not luxurious, but pretty clean and interesting decor. The breakfast was fine and included yogurt, fruit, bread, cereal, and some cold poached eggs. The highlight of breakfast was the juicer! My family loved cutting their own oranges and making fresh orange juice!

The pictures on the hotel website are much better than the real thing! The hotel was ok but it did not seem very clean and looked quite out-dated. The staff were not overly helpful and we did not receive any help lugging our massive bags up the stairs! Upon check in they just give you the key and point you in the rough direction of your room. Not really what you expect if you have just come on a long journey and are very tired.
On the plus side, the location is good for visiting the major tourist sites and it is near to the Metro station. However, the street seems quite dodgy (there is a sex shop next door), but maybe that is just Athens in general. We would not return to Athens, it is quite dirty and unfriendly.
