Very nice small hotel in the centre of Athens but in a good area.
Has a garage near the hotel which is very important for Athens. Rooms are very small but very nice.
Staff could be more friendly

The biggest advantage of this hotel is location. Although it is extremely loud outside I can't imagine to stay at any other district in Athens for this price. Stuff ( especially in hotel restaurant) is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was rather poor and air condition was a little bit noisy (it's impossible to sleep with windows opened) but if I were to stay in Athen once again - I would choose Athinais hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms not from the street side seems to be more quiet.

This is a gem, and I am very happy to have discovered it.
The rooms were a little small, but very clean. It is located in the heart of Athens in one of the safest locations, within a five minute walk to the metro station. Very nice breakfast and very helpful and polite staff. Highly recommended to everyone.

We stayed in Athens for three nights, two next to the Acropolis and the last night nearer the airport. I wish we had stayed at the Athinais for the three nights, much, much cheaper and exactly the same deal minus the views which you can take is as you wander round athens. Staff were all excellent and I'd recommend this hotel again.

I spent three nights at this hotel and was very pleased with the hotel cleanliness, nice decor and helpful staff. When I first saw that the hotel was on a busy road I was a little bit worried about the noise. Possibly, I was lucky that our room was not facing the road and was quiet.
The best thing about this hotel has to be the ease of transport to and from the airport. Take the X95 bus from the airport for 5 Euros and ask the driver to drop you off at 'Platiya Mavilly' which is just 2 minutes walk away. The same bus takes you back to the airport but you need to cross the street to the opposite side.
The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a fair range of channels and the WIFI was free and easy to connect (no password).
Breakfast was varied and had some local dishes like cheese pies, feta cheese, greek yoghurt, greek honey and some hot food too. It is better to pass on the orange juice and go for the fruit salad instead.
The area is near the US embassy and you feel very safe unlike many other parts of Athens. Megaro Moussikis Metro station is about 5 mins walk to get to the centre of Athens or elsewehere.

Room Tip: Try to get a room not facing the main road

This hotel is a few metro stops from the centre in a safe area. The hotel is clean. It has free wi fi and a free public computor. The rooms were ok and clean. The breakfast was very nice. The staff always pleasant and helpful. The price good €70 including breakfast.
Things I didn't like:
No safe in the room - a complete pain to go to reception every time you need to use a safe.
The rooms were noisey - you can here every sound from either side of you. I think they must know this as the TV volume is set mid way and you can still hear every word from next door!
No outside space to sit at all.
The hotels coffee shop is expensive and the food is average.

Room Tip: Get a room at the front or side not at the back
