Very kind and helpful staff. (thank you all, you really make the difference!)
All very clean and tidy.
Good breakfast, simple but generous.
Wonderful view from the room windows and from the terrace, accessible at every hour.
Our family room was so small. Not-so-comfortable beds.
The walls are thin and if you're not deep-sleepers, it can be a nightmare (people talking loud in other rooms at night, the nearby church bells at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning...)
But afterall... We would choose it again.

Room Tip: Ask for the view rooms. The night view of the Acropolis is something... magic!

We were comfortable at the Arion Athens but can not quite explain why. We originally planned to stay four days and ended up there for seven. Everything was good enough and nothing was really wrong with it. 1. The neighborhood is full of graffiti making it appear unkept and even dangerous,, definitely not a pleasing first impression. But the hotel facade itself and the interior are actually spotless and the area was safe. 2. The rooms were very clean, but the smell of smoke wafted through the walls and corridors every night we were there and would wake us up. 3. The view of the Acropolis was fabulous from the rooftop, but because of the way the Acropolis is situated on a hill, I think this is very common. 4. The breakfast comes with the room, the hours are fine, the breakfast staff pleasant, the dining area clean and spacious, but the breakfast has a lot of carbohydrates (soft boiled eggs and yogurt were the other choices). The reception staff were very willing and able to answer our questions, but didn't go out of there way to be friendly or offer helpl. 5. The location was nice, more the feeling of a real neighborhood, just near Monostiraki metro station, but not in the more touristy Plaka area closer to the Acropolis and Agora. In the end, we much preferred this aspect even though it also did mean hearing the partying on the street on the weekend and the church bells gonging on Sunday morning. That part felt very authentically Greek - not just drunk tourists. 6. The room was spacious, the bathroom big enough, and there was always hot water. 7. The price was reasonable and seemed like a fair value, 110 Euros for four of us in the low season.

Room Tip: Seventh floor rooms lead to the rooftop terrace.

Good location, rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice view on the Acropole. The balcony was fully appreciated. Public transportation (metro) is quite close. The street is quiet and calm. No noise at night.

Very good location, 5 walking minutes from Monastiraki metro station, Monastiraki square, Ermou street & Plaka.Next to the Psiri square, full of tavernas, cafes and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was rich. Very good price. Thanks for the room on the 6th floor with beautiful view to the Acropolis!

Located close to the square and bars and shops
Hotel located in an area which is covered from head to toe in graffiti. Not a dangerous area, but just the perception.
Room had torn dirty net curtains, but good size and good shower
Hotel did have some git who phoned guests at random at 3am in the morning claiming to be from reception asking guests to settle outstanding 40 euro room service bills. Not pleasant

Breakfast ok if like scrambled eggs, a little limited

Think I would go elsewhere next time

Good view from roof top
