We only spent a night there, but we slept and ate great. The service was very good with very kind and well-mannered employees. Only down side was that the hotel is near a not very safe zone. Fortunately that is only the word that gets around, we haven't had any trouble at all (and we walked around the area at night).

Arrived at the hotel July 14 for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, modern and very nicely decorated. Our room was small, but well designed and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom. The staff was generally very warm and accommodating, except for an older gentleman at the front desk who seemed to be much friendlier with beautiful women than with two gay men. The terrace with its bar, restaurant and pool area is superb, and reasonably priced: the view on the Acropolis from there is gorgeous. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but we enjoyed being a little off from the crazy tourist areas while being able to walk to all the main attractions in a few minutes. We went back there for our last night in Athens after touring the islands: we were surprised, when we asked the front desk to arrange a taxi to catch our plane the following morning that we had to pay on top of the 35 euros flat fee to the airport an extra 5 euros just to make the arrangement. Though this ended our stay on a bit of a sour note, we would still recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at Fresh Hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, the hotel itself is modern and well equipped. The pool on the roof is very pleasant although very small and constantly crowded and full of children running and screaming all over the place - very hard to get a seat ! The staff was so welcoming and friendly, letting us print our airport reservations and looking after our suitcases during our last day. Breakfast is very pleasant and offers a big variety of choice, sweet and savoury. I would just fault it location, in Omonia which is NOT the nicest place to stay in Athens... However once you get back in the hotel you can just relax and enjoy this fabulous hotel.

Hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and did everything to accommodate you. The ninth floor was a wonderful spot to have a drink and look at the city views. The breakfast was very well put together. The pictures on line make the hotel look bigger than it is. The rooms are not that big and the elevator is very small. The area of town was ok. However, anywhere in Greece may be questionable.

Stayed 2 nights from July, 12th through July, 14th 2013.

Clean and modern hotel conviniently located close to the Monastiraki metro station (15 minutes walk) down the busy shopping street that pretty much looks like some oriental market (bazzar). At first we thought we got into Instanbul not Athens :)

The Monastiraki sub station is right on the blue metro line that goes to/from the Athens interntational airport. Trains from Monastiraki to the airport run every 30 minutes ('01 and '31) - so watch the table on the platfrom - it shows the arrival time of the next 3 trains. Many trains departing the same platfrom do not go to the airport. Commute to/from the airport takes around 40 minutes. Single one-way ticket costs 8 euros. But if you are travelling together with someone - you can buy a one-way ticket for 2 persons that costs 14 euros (7 euros each). Tickets are available in the metro box office at the station or in ticket machines. Credit cards are not accepted though. There are no turnstiles on the stations - free to go - pure blind trust. Just make sure you validate the ticket upon entrance. If you have a daily ticket for all kinds of transportation - validate it once upon the first entry - and don't worry about subsequent rides during the next 24 hours.

Rooms in the hotel are in the scandinavian hi-tech style - exactly what we needed from the city hotel like this. All the amenities are new and modern.

We arrived at 9 30 and were given our room immediately despite the fact that the 'official' check-in time at the hotel is 14 00 hours.

Buffet breakfast is served in the 2d floor canteen and is plentiful: fried eggs, sausages, spagetty, cornflakes, lots of pastry, fruits. Cofee and hot water are served in pots but upon request you can get cappucino, latte, other kinds of coffee from the bartender - they can make it for you, no problem.

Wi-fi is free with very good coverage throughout the hotel.

The rooftop bar and pool are great with an amazing view of the city (including the Acropolis) - please see pictures. There's a set of sunloungers available for free there as well. The pool is refreshing amidst the midday heat - no doubt.

Recommend to everyone for a short or long stay!!

And don't be distracted by the area which may look strange at first. Athens is great and versatile and definetly worth a visit!
