Breathtaking and a must see. It demistfies and explain the pantheon. Sitting on top of its own archeological site, the building in itself is an architectural wonder protecting an ancient site yet standing tall to explain another. The 5 ? fee is well worth it. And its a pleasent walk to or from the pantheon.

“Acropolis Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

I have been to a lot of museums but this one tops everything. Newly constructed, very modern, everything is position thematically. The exhibits are very well displayed with valuable information at what you are looking at both in greek and english. There are some huge sculptures to see which are breathtaking... I kept getting the goosepumps all the time. It was unreal to actually some of he most important greeks living their mark behind after so many years b.c. And we can actually appreciate it here and now. Proof that these are not just myths but have actually happend.

The price is just 5€. Very value for money.

They have an excellent cafeteria with many choices also with reasonable price, from where you can enjoy a splendit view of Parthenon.

They also have free wi-fi
