Although I didn't have opportunity of going inside the building, I found the location quite strategic. The fact that it's situated very close to the University was a good idea. I can't give much info about this place.

The National Library building is part of a trilogy of buildings located next to each other. Built in 1888, and designed by a Dutch Architect , Hansen.
The three buildings are: The National Library, University of Athens, and Academy of Athens. These are located in central Athens. They are beautiful and worth a look.

This is the third building by Hansen of his trilogy of neoclassical design. The other two buildings are the University of Athens and the Academy of Athens which are situated next to each other and next to the National Library.

We only walked in briefly but it was such a nice place.
There are several floors of tall stacks visible from the lobby, really neat looking.
There were a lot of people there but not overcrowded, except for computer work stations which were very popular.
Cool place to visit, and sees like an awesome resource for locals.
