A lovely part of Athens- lots of well kept tiny streets. You can just wander and see something exciting around every corner. It’s a lovely relaxed way to spend an afternoon

This place has a plethora of shops and restaurants. The vibe here is amazing as you can chill and enjoy good cuisine, shop for souvenirs or just soak in the culture and ambiance. The place has shops and restaurants for all budgets and is indeed worth a visit and spending a good amount of time.

I visited Plaka again during my 2018 Athens Marathon trip and was surprised of the positive development. During the years (I first visited Plaka 1976) Plaka has developed into positive directions. Eventhough it is full of tourism but it has gained all time more elegancy. This is always a place to visit when visiting Athens despite its touristic feelings sometimes.

This is by far my favourite part of Athens. The whole area is very nice and well kept. There are many stores to purchase souvenirs and what not. Many cafes and restaurants too.

If you are visiting Athens it would be a crime not to visit Plaka, its a place to see the old city with its many shops and great restaurants most offer traditional greek food and live music. Don’t miss it.

I went here for a day of shopping and it was fun and fabulous. Anything you are looking for you will find and very reasonable prices. Lots of restaurants in the area where you can take a break and recharge for more shopping

Excellent area for walking, shopping, eating and people watching. Friendly shop owners. Prices vary - generally inexpensive but some pricier venues if the view was right.

In Plaka, you will find lots of taverns, restaurants, shops etc. Every single marble on the streets has its own character and story to tell.
Stroll down to Plaka an evening, for a glass of wine and a souvlaki, stop and stare the rest of the people walking around, let your senses free, hear the stories the rest have to tell and I assure you that you will have the best time of your life!!! Amazing place, wonderfull area!!!
