“Shopping area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

It’s a very good opportunity to walk, shop, drink coffee, eat and see other people all in one place...Ermou str. Although after the economic crisis the stores are less than previous years, still is the shopping centre of Athens. The street begins from Syntagma square and stops at Monastiraki square so is a very good connection between the two big attractions of Athens. The best part for me is to try discover the hidden places (shops, places to eat or drink) right & left of the main pedestrian road and leave yourself to be swept away into smaller roads. I am sure that you will find a lot of interesting things.

“Famous Shopping Street of Athens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

If you like to shop till you drop but you are bored of malls, Ermou is the best place to go for you. It's in the center (leads from Syntagma square to Monastiraki square and then up to Gazi), easy to reach by metro and offers variety of shops with clothing, shoes and jewelry.

“good for walk and shopping”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

It's a once of the main streets in Athens, and also the biggest place to made your shopping. You'll get all in one, as the street has great variety of shops around. Many tourists pass the street every day as well as Athenians. Even if you don't plan to see Ermou street during your sightseeing you will 'meet' it somehow - I'm 100% sure.

“Very good market place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

It is a marketplace where you can find good prices. Nice cafes around can be visited in order to offer you a coffee and some rest for continuing shopping.
