“Amazing! True local dining ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2014 via mobile

Found this place on trip advisor by accident. Typed in a search for seafood and it brought up this place....and I'm so thankful it did!

If you're into flash and fancy dining then this isn't for you, but if you're looking for truly awesome Greek food then you can't afford to miss it.

The menu is wide and varied with everything you'd expect to find on a Greek menu. You can also order everything in small portions which is great for kids and those of you wanting a variety, which is what we did. We ordered a mix of meats, prawns in tomato and feta sauce, Greek salad and a few other dishes. Add to this a handful of soft drinks and Large carafe of wine and we were ready to burst! Total bill for three of us was 65 euros and we'd had over eight dishes plus drinks.

Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. In fact they wouldn't let us leave without trying their dessert and insisted on sorting us out with a taxi as it was getting towards midnight.

I would recommend you drop them an email the day before just to make sure they can fit you in as it's a popular place with the local families.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in, and after three weeks it's the only one I'm giving five stars to!

“Traditional Greek Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2014

If you are looking for something that is really Greek, this is the right place to be. Staff here was friendly. Food was nice. Being a vegetarian, they have quite a lot vegetarians options. I personally would recommend the fried feta cheese with honey and sesame. It was very unique and tasty. I would definitely go there again.

“amazing food and service!! excellent value pick.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

My Aunt and I ate here last night, and although we only have 3 nights total in Athens we plan to go back tomorrow!!

We arrived about 930pm and did not have a reservation, but were able to be seated outside (if you're going for a later dinner or visiting on a weekend I'd make a reservation.) Our table was a little titled as the restaurant is on a slope, but that is the only complaint I could possibly make.

My aunt and I ordered 4 dishes and bread between the two of us, and we had more than enough food. We got the octopus in vinegar, linguini carbonara, a mackeral special, and fried feta cheese with honey and sesame. The octopus was tender and perfectly balanced, the pasta one of the better carbonaras I've had (very creamy as opposed to cheesy), the mackeral plentiful (3 fish for 9EUR), and the fried feta huge and delicious.

We also had friendly considerate service with great personal advice on dishes. Our waitress even brought us a complimentary chocolate dessert as we finished our meal. Most of the other diners were locals, and although we only got a glass of wine the bar selection seemed satisfactory.

Overall fantastic meal with friendly unpretentious service, one of the best I've had anywhere and a great introduction to Greek food and hospitality.

Dinner for two with wine was 22.7 euros- a fabulous deal considering how much food we ate. The staff made us feel welcome from the start. Food was delicious - def try the deep fried feta with honey and sesame - wow! worth the walk

“Great place !!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2014 via mobile

We had dinner here and it was our best meal in Athens. They have small plates, so we shared 4-5 little plates between two of us. Every plate was wonderful and very reasonable. The service is good. We had dinner around 9pm, by 11 the restaurant was full. We would highly recommend it. Call to make reservation if you can, but it's not required.
