Great place for kids to play and learn. Many different rooms (water room, market, cooking, math, learning your body etc) in two buildings. The permanet exibitions are for free. So are the cookies baking class. Some other cooking classes do have some participation costs - but they are totally worth it! My kids 3.5 and 7 enjoed them so much and never wanted to leave!

We were very excited to go to this museum when we visited Athens because where we live there are none, and we know from visits to the States that museums like this are just awesome. It wasn't very large, but what was there was excellent. There are four rooms with different themes (construction, shops, house, water play). In the house room there was also a chest full of toys for toddlers and babies. There were quite a few volunteers working the day we were there and they were very nice and helpful. Overall my three kids (ages 5, 3 and 1 1/2) all had a great time and didn't want to leave when it closed.

We were there on our last day of our visit to Athens. Our son (2.5) was enchanted by the place and has been talking on and on about the "builder's room", "the shop room" and "the nice ladies". Very attractive and creative place for children of all ages.

It's a great place to go if in the center of Athens. Kids will enjoy while parents will catch their breath. All facilities were of great joy to my daughter, staff was helpful and smiling, bathroom was clean.
If crowded though, it's a bit overwhelming..

We took our 9 year old son here and while he enjoyed himself (it was on a Tuesday morning and other than a school group, there was practically no one else there) it was a bit young for him. The hands on exhibits are great, he especially liked the construction room and we loved the market with the bakery, butcher etc.

Overall we had fun, but it is geared toward children younger than him.
