Nice modern rooms , great food and fantastic staff.... Its very central to every major sight in Athens like the Acropolis and Plaka and the Acropolis Museum to name a few. Its in a nice alley which feels pretty safe and has amazing views. I wouldnt mind going back!

We have just spent 7 nights at the Parthenon. This hotel is fantastic, the value is hard to beat. If you are after a hotel that does the little things right, this is the one. We found it clean, comfortable, very well located next to the Plaka and the Acropolis and in a quiet street right near the Acropolis metro station. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wireless Internet worked perfectly in the rooms.

I would recommend this to all. Great view of the acropolis and the surrounding streets from both our balcony and the rooftop restaurant. Within walking distance of everything you would want to see while in Athens including the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, Agora, Plaka, Olympic Stadium, Parliment Building, Acropolis Museum. National Gardens and all the restaurants and shopping one could handle. The only place we took a taxi to was the National Museum. We did not use it, but for those who are not walkers, the metro is one block away and taxis are cheap. Last but not least the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, had comfortable beds and the staff was helpful, friendly, informative and courteous. An overall pleasure to work with. Photos were taken from our balcony.

We just returned from our trip to Athens. We stayed at the Airotel Parthenon and we thought it was a great value for the money. The location can't be beat. It's very close to the old part of town, the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Plenty of good restaurants around too. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful. We thought the breakfast was fine - it's hard to complain about free breakfast. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having a balcony - there are so many birds chirping in the afternoon, it was nice to leave the door open to listen to them. The only bummer was that the walls are fairly thin but I always pack earplugs so I slept just fine.

When I'd planned stay at Athens I'd read a lot of review about this hotel. And now when I read reviews it seems that the hotel consists of the two parts. One part is beautiful and the other is awful. Unfortunately we were at awful part. Anyhow I want to be fair. There is one excellent thing. It's location. The hotel is situated near the old city center. And the staff is polite. DARK SIDE. Breakfasts were uneatable . Grey mess called "scrambled eggs". Tiny sausages fried twice or thrice. The most simple thing is yogurt from nearest supermarket. There were no yogurt. The room was dusty. There were dust flakes on air fan at WC, at the door the same place, at the air conditioning lattice above the head at the entrance. Have a loot at my photo. Carpet looked nice but after ten minutes going barefoot feet got black color. Air conditioning rattled. Seems very old. There were no towels, there were rags.

Room Tip: Really I don't know. ROOM #406 was DIRTY

Very clean rooms, staff very helpfull, great location near La Plaka and the Parthenon. Good restaurants at hotel and nearby. The streets surrounding are perfect for shopping and find good bargains. Would go back anytime!

Location, location, location with nice rooms and a great staff! This is a great hotel - literally a 5 minute walk to the Parthenon, Plaka (market place), metro, and several great restaurants. Our room was clean and the staff friendly. The staff were particularly helpful (Petros was great) because we stayed there when the taxis, metro, and trams were all on strike for three days. The staff kept us updated on what was open and closed, how to get to the sites, and made sure we got transportation back to the airport. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. The only minus is the breakfast offered - it is minimal but enough to get you started in the morning - don't have high expectations. Also the elevators are small and the blow dryer in the bathroom is underpowered. Minor drawbacks to a hotel that is an excellent value for the price.
