“Beautiful”

Keep you ticket for Akropolis. It will give you free admission to the Agora. Last time I visited the Akropolis the temple wasn't there :-( It was down for renovation. Now it is there. Beautiful.

“Beautiful”

Built on the Acropolis as a Temple to the protector of the city it is simply beautiful. The preservation of the location has been very well done and continues to show the amazing beauty of the craftsmenship. Makes sure to keep this somewhere at the top of your list of must see locations in Athens.

“Do not miss this when at the Acropolis”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

This is a small temple that is near the edge on the Acropolis. It has been a visual icon to Athens for a very long time. They have recently cleaned it up and restored the beautiful stone to a gorgeous finish.
There were four original statues that have been moved inside the Acropolis Museum. However there are copies that replaced them to let you enjoyed what it once looked like..

You can get great pictures of it from atop the Acropolis as well as from the base. It you go in early morning, the sun hits it at a great angle for pictures.
