Entry fee is low (check website) so take your photo on the track of the first modern Olympic Games arena.
FYI there is a 50 cent fee to use the WC but it is clean!

You are able to see the stadium without having to pay and enter. Unless you are an Olympic Games fan. Easy to find and access.
If you are into sport in any way this place is just a must. For 5 euros this is a steal and seeing the site of the first olympics is amazing. The marble seating, listening to the history- seeing the awesome
Museum with the torches- just a highlight of Athens!
This is the stadium that hosted the opening ceremony for the first modern Olympics in 1896. I'm not sure if it is worth paying for entry as you can see the whole thing from the plaza at the front. Worth a quick look but there's a lot more to see in Athens.
Enjoyable just being here. It'd be amazing to come to a live event here.... Vangelis would be fantastic here!!
We had every intention of going into this site until we found out the entry fee and certainly did not feel it was worth the price unless you are really an Olympics fan (we are not).
You can see pretty much all of the stadium from outside so you can still get great photos if that is all you are looking for.
