Visiting one of the oldest stadium made of marble is a must if you are in the area! Entrance fee is 3 Euro with free audio to guide seem very reasonable.

Opportunity to learn a lot of interesting things about the Olympic games, about the origins of several sport words (eg: stadium, gymnasium), to visit the place that hosted the first olympic games in ancient history as well as the first modern olympic games (in 1896). In sum, a must go! With free audio guides and a EUR$3 entrance fee, you will have a great time there!

A truly impressive stadium with amazing history. The free audio guide is interesting. Make sure that you go to the top for good views back at the acropolis.

3 euro admission provides access to the historic stadium with a portable tape recorder which explains various things about the stadium's amazing history at 12 checkpoints. A highlight for fans of modern Olympic history is the collection of posters and torches from most of the Olympics since 1896. Sadly missing the olympic torch from the Melbourne Olympics. Surely the AOC can remedy this ommision.
