While now only the platform and few pillars remain at these place, but the sheer scale of it amazes. The visit to Athens is incomplete if you have not been here.

We stayed in a hotel across the street from this amazing place. We visited early in the morning and it was great. We had the chance to really enjoyed it at our own pace, we took a lot of pictures. Even though there are some columns in the floor I found it to be very well preserved.

By a wonderful sunshine I visited the great termple of Zeus, first arriving to the Hadrian's Arch, which was very nice, but here the entrance was closed, the entrance was 200 m faraway from here; the site was on a very large green place, not many people visited the temple; I saw 16 most antique columns with a hight of ca. 17 metres; In the antique time the temple had 104 columns; The temple was constructed by a Roman architecte; the structure did not have a roof and pediment; the construction was the biggest in the antiquity, and Emperor Hadrian completed it
