Location is the best features of this hotel. It is minutes away from everything. The Acropolis and all the attractions are within walking distance. The only minus I've noticed are the staff and the small room size.

Room Tip: Don't miss the roof terrace

Unfortunately we only had one night here. Our rooms were adequate but what was best of all was the location, rooftop restaurant and it's view of The Acropolis. The service was excellent and the food just divine. Would definitely stay here again.

Hera was in the perfect location! 1/2 a block from the pedestrian streets with restaurants, shopping and cafes. If one morning we walked to the Temple of Zeus, National Garden, Parliament Building, Presidential Residence and the Panathenaic Stadium. We went back to rest at the hotel for a short time then to the Acropolis Museum and Filopappou Hill in the afternoon. We didn't have to take a cab during our stay because everything was so close. The staff were all very helpful, directed us to restaurants etc. Rooms were typical small European rooms, which we expected and was perfect for 2. Rooms were clean (floors were stained), if you like a very firm bed, you will be happy. Would stay here again for sure!

Thank klokken

This hotel has a great location within easy walking distance of the attractions in Athens. Rooms are a little small as many have said, but you won't be there much so they are fine. Breakfast was very good - buffet served in a room right off the reception area. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant with a very nice view of the Acropolis all light up. You may want to make a reservation since it is quite small - we didn't have one and still got a table, but not one of the "prime" view tables. Prices were very reasonable. Be prepared that your room may not be ready if you arrive in the AM from an international flight - we ended up walking around Athens for about 5 hours until our room was ready. Enjoy your stay!

Room Tip: We had a room facing the front of the hotel with a small balcony - only downside is you can hear mus...

This is a great little oasis in the heart of bustling Athens. It is within walking distance to many main attractions in Athens. We had a room on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Acropolis from our private balcony. The facilities, service, and food were wonderful! We definitely would return if we ever go back to Athens.

Room Tip: A room on the 5th floor with a view of the Acropolis.

We stayed here twice - on our way to and from the Greek Islands. It was perfect. Very well priced, close to the Acropolis and the Plaka yet quiet. It is a small hotel and we loved that as the staff treated us like friends returning. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms although small are very clean and functional. The roof top gives you a peaceful break from the hustle of the streets and the breakfast was a very good small buffet where everything was kept refreshed. We will not even look at other options when we return to Athens.
