after a long day we were so happy to be surrounded by something familiar. food was delicious and staff were very kind. always smiling and offering good advice about our stay. i loved how no matter what you ordered, you automatically got a basket of bread, some salads and dips, and at the end a slice of cake - no extra charge! so unlike the restaurants we went to in Italy where you have to pay for water! they also have a sort of lounge area where we were able to relax and use the wifi.

I have to say, before I came here I was a bit incredulous about how a kosher restaurant scores among the highest in a city with thousands of dining options... Well I have the answer:

Firstly, the restaurant is located within walking distance of all the tourist sites and is down a lovely little side street just out of the way of all the noise. The restaurant is nice and clean with plenty of seating. It also houses a small kosher grocery in a room on the side.

We had a wonderful dinner at this lovely establishment! The food was great and plentiful with Israeli and Greek influences in the menu.

It's great to have a wonderful kosher option with such a convenient location!

But the jewel of the restaurant and secret to its success and popularity is the owner Ricky! She takes tremendous care and pride in making sure every customer is taken care of, well fed and happy! She truly made us feel like family! We will be back!

Finding kosher greek food anywhere in the world is a challenge, i was so glad to finally have real greek food in greece no less - this restaurant is just a short walk from the acropolis and is totally worth it.

My wife and I had some of the best falafels at Gostijo. According to Ricki (owner), she makes them everyday fresh at the restaurant. She was extremely friendly and spent sometime chatting with us. Tahini sauce was awesome. All in all, the best falafels in town.
