“Surprisingly Great Kosher Food in Athens”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Very good in any category! We enjoyed a variety of Sephardic starters and chicken as a main course. Many choices for the the gluten-intolerant.

“Kosher delight in the centre of Athens”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

The Greeks are very friendly in general but the staff at Gostijo, especially Ricki are amazing, very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Shnitzle which was cooked perfectly and it came with home made fries, breads, dips and a yummy chocolate cake with orange peal conserve which was yummy. The food was abundant. The restaurant itself was spacious, very clean and had a homely feel to it. I really felt at home here. And they have free wifi and telephone where you can call anywhere in the world for free. A trip to Athens isn't complete until you visit Gostijo.

“Wonderful surprise gem in Athens”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

My wife and I were not sure what to expect from a Kosher restaurant in Athens. We were pleasantly shocked! Before we even ordered we met the Manager of the restaurant and she was lovely. She made us feel right at home. The food was great. We got the Falafel platter and Shnitzel which tasted great. The portion are abundant and the prices fair. What I also loved is that that they were extremely generous with not just their portions but there sides as well. We ordered the house bread and when they saw that the basket was empty they rushed to refill it free of charge. Overall I would definately recommend this place to all travelers.

“Interesting change in the area”
Reviewed March 6, 2014 via mobile

Nice, spacious interior, warm welcome by the lady of the house and Konstantina.

Straight forward menu with clear options for starters, salads and mains. If in doubt, ask and all your questions will be answered with a smile.

Of course it does not deserve third place in TA (no way!) but it is quite good!

Good prices, around 20 euros per person without drinks.

“Kosher homey elegance with access to free phone use and internet!”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

My daughter and i enjoyed three lovely days in Athens, and a great part of the wonderful experience was due to this homey but elegant, kosher restaurant in the heart of Athens with free use of the phone and internet. The manager ricki was unbelievably warm and helpful, and we felt at home there, returning each night, just as we saw others doing!!
