Nancy runs this sweet little hotel with her son Christos. The rooms are basic but clean and with atmoshere. We had a little patio, fridge, wlan, and aircon. The location is perfect for visitors looking for a quiet place near Acropolis, Plaka and city center. The area is safe and only 10m Minutes walk away of the Plaka with it`s restaurants, bars and shops.
We had two lovely days and comfortable nights at the Marble House and would check in again at any time ! Nancy gave us usefull tips for dinner and for the early transfer to the ferries in Priaeus. She organised our Taxi for our very early start in the morning.

Thank you, Nancy and Christos !

We got such a great deal on this nice room. Stayed for two nights and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Only two blocks away from Metro stop with easy access to the flea market and Acropolis. Very helpful with everything even called us a taxi to get to our early flight to Santorini. Had our own little balcony where we did notice their was a little ant invasion occurring. Right around the corner we discovered the most amazing bakery! Will definitely be back!

The room was a great price,a bit small and cramped, but that's really all we needed since we didn't spend a lot of time in our room anyway. Be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. If you only need a place to crash after a long day of sight seeing and touring, this is a a good, clean place to do it. It's within walking distance to nearly everything, very close to the Plaka and Temple of Zeus and Syntagma Square. The owner was very helpful in providing information on things to do and the best way to see them and do them. He also made sure to reserve us a taxi for our ferry transfer at the end of our stay there to make sure we arrived on time. The cab driver was slightly early and the process couldn't have been easier.

Room Tip: make sure to request a private bathroom if you desire one. Not all rooms have one, but have shared...

We stayed here at the start of a month in the Greek Islands. It is very easy to get to the Parthenon, but what was really nice was the surrounding Athens neighborhood that you walk to get to the sights. The area is full of grocery stores, post office, pool halls and cafes. A welcome surprise. The metro stop is easy to get to also.
The hotel is clean and very good value. We had one of the shared bathrooms and it was fine. The ceiling fans are good if you get one of the non-a/c rooms although it doesn't cool off in the rooms until around 10pm. We liked it so much, we booked our rooms for the end of August when we left. Christos was also very helpful with dinner suggestions. A good, well priced hotel.

Booked here due to reviews from trip advisor but very disappointed. The hotel is clean and quite close to the Acropolis and cheap, but that's where the good points end.
It's very small with minimal facilites. En-suite was under a sloping roof so you couldn't stand up straight and minus a shower curtain (no bath). Shower head had to be held manually. Bathroom door was an ancient concertina type door and did not close properly. Minimal sound proofing between rooms. Plug sockets sparked alarmingly.
