We have stayed here for 5 days. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel not fancy by itself, but cosy and we have felt very welcome in there. We were surprised by fresh and homemade breakfast. Cleaners were coming everyday, so room and bathroom were super clean and tidy. The best of this hotel is quiet and safe area and everything was sooo close! 5 mins walk to Syntagma square, metro and buses to/ from
the airport, Acropolis and other must see places 10mins walk. Good pubs and restaurants around the corner. There are no iron or hairdrayer, you need to ask in reception. No elevator. Also, wifi was not working two days. Despite these cons, we would recommend this hotel!

We had a fabulous stay here. Loved the breakfasts. We had a great stay and loved all the employees there. We stayed on the upper floor. Thank you all. We will return on day. When we opened the balcony doors we had a great view and the jasmin were blooming and the scent was so splendid. We would recommend this hotel.

This is a little bit older hotel and not so much comfortable, but still there you will find everything what you need for wonderful stay in Athens. Location is the great, in the middle of the most relevant historical part of Athens. Breakfast is also excellent, with lot of varieties a fresh meals. Wi-Fi connection is functioning in all premises in hotel and without interruption. Staff is always near and ready to help. For all that I am almost sure that you cannot find better price in that part of Athens.

Of course there are some small shortcomings. The building is more or less old and some parts are worn (windows, doors), but everything is kept clean. Rooms, or at least my room was relatively small, and the first impression is that is not comfortable. But, latter on you will see that is not problem in any sense.

And finally, how much this hotel will be good for you depends on your luggage:) There is no lift in this hotel and if your room is on the fourth floor and you have heavy and voluminous luggage it could be really problematic. But I am sure without any doubt that hotel staff would assist you.

Room tip: Rooms on the second or third floor are little bit quieter. Also, some rooms have a terrace.

The staff really are friendly and helpful people. By no means a run of them mill hotel building, lots of quirky original features - located smack in the centre of things –on the edge of the Plaka, right next to Syntagma Square.

Room tip: Higher floor is quieter

The reviews about location are right on. Everything from shopping, dining, and sight seeing is an easy walk just as previous reviewers have noted. Also the positive reviews on the hospitality are true too. Regardless who is at the front desk they take care of you. This is our first trip to Greece and we are finding that the Greeks are extremely hospitable.
