The hotel itself is not a 4 star hotel, I would say its not much higher than a 2star. We arrived at 5 in the morning, and were told to sleep in the lounge as our room was not ready till 7.30 am-but when I offered to pay for another room they suddenly had a room available for us- we were so tired we just paid and went to sleep. The rooms were fine-basic, shower is small and the walls are very thin. Our air conditioning leaked and made the room smell. But as we were out all day, for somewhere to put your head down its fine. The bar on the roof is lovely as is the view and the pool. However, service at the restaurant there is non-existent. We were sat for 15 mins inside before leaving as no one was helping us.
Breakfast was basic, usual, although on the last morning, and thankfully it was the last-we found a cockroach by a wall-it was dead, and I did inform the staff-and they did deal with it right away-but I wouldn't have eaten in there if I had seen it on our first day.
The reception staff are helpful, other than the night manager- it's close to the centre and the bus tour.
Overall, not bad, not great, wouldn't stay here again, but for a few days if your on a very tight budget, why not.
