Park Hotel Athens is one of the oldest hotels in Athens. Recently renovated it features large, convenient rooms decorated with green 'park' colours. Having visited Park many times in the past for its great italian restaurant 'Galo Nero', this time we spent one night as part of a special offer that included a dinner upstairs in the asian restaurant.
Overall experience was great. Stuff is very friendly (though probably they have one of the smallest reception areas you will ever see). Rooms are quite spacious, clean and offer a convenient stay. Rooms on the back offer a great view to Acropolis, rooms in front oversee the park. I would expect a bigger breakfast buffet but everything was very tasty.
Hints: Ask for a high floor room. If your room is on the font it will save you from some street noise (quite busy street). Don't forget to visit both Galo Nero and St'Astra restaurants. Food and service are superb, and the night view from St'Astra restaurant is spectacular.
Worth visiting, would definitely stay again.
