Golden Age Hotel Athens

Convenient place, clean. Furnitures of the room are a bit old-fashioned, and don't stop when you see the rates : For a room announced at 250€ (which is completely stupid for this kind of hotel), you can have it for 100€. Worth the try.
Breakfast is ok, although quality could be a bit better.

Our stay (2 adults and one child) in the Golden Age Hotel was indeed very pleasent. Rooms are spacious (specially the suites - 7th floor), modern and clean. The decoration of the rooms is quite neutral, and the balcony is a plus. Breakfast is nice as well, with a courteous service by the waiters. As a matter of fact, all members of the staff were always very polite. The location of the hotel is excellent as well, about two blocks away from a subway station (with direct connection to the airport) and not too far from the city's main attractions. There´s a public parking (independent from the hotel) just next door (50 meters) with decent fares.

We were 4 and so we booked 2 double rooms with interconnecting door, with 1 bathroom between rooms. Rooms were great, comfortable and clean. Felt at home.

Golden Age Hotel is in a really safe area, with a metro station just a block away. We felt safe coming back at late hours at night. Super helpful staff. Great breakfast. It was perfect. Will definitely stay at this hotel next time I'm in Athens.

Excellent place to stay.
Good location - very close to Megaro Mousikis Metro, also seemed like a much safer area then Omonia.
Room was very comfortable and clean, but no coffee or tea making facilities. Lots of choice at breakfast.
The staff were lovely and helpful.
I would definitely stay there again.

Good value basic hotel with helpful friendly staff.
Good location for Megaron Conference Centre and metro from airport all just a short walk.
For a business hotel the down side was no iron or coffee making facilities in the room was a big downside.

We stayed in room 319. The hotel is nice, with clean rooms and common areas and friendly staff in all departments. Breakfast had a good variety if food. It is located reasonably close to the Megaro Mousikis metro station.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front are larger than rooms facing the back

I stayed for one night at Golden Age last month. The hotel is and centrally located just a short walk from metro station.
Standard rooms and bathrooms were rather small and looked aged. The mattresses were very hard for me. There was also a small balcony facing to the back side of the hotel.
Breakfast and meals were fine.
