The Hotel has a nice central location. Check-in was quick and flawless. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was very generous to say the least. In general we found the staff to be very efficient and the ambiance to be good. Too bad that they make you pay for WiFi when you have one of the more expensive rooms. There was a good view of the Parthenon from the rooftop pool terrace, but unfortunately for us it was a bit too windy to enjoy it. It is an excellent hotel, but we might be tempted to try somewhere else during our next visit to Athens

Nice central location, good breakfast, great cappuccino! Excellent for organizing meetings and conferences. Βreakfast room and reception staff could be improved by trying to look genuinely polite. Sound isolation in the rooms not adequate. Wifi a bit problematic, unfortunately they charge it as well.. Hello? This is the 21st century!

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were nice, comfy bed. Helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and nice eating in the gardens. The bonus is the views of the Parthenon from the rooftop pool and bar. Definitely recommended.

We stayed here 3 nights to see the sights of Athens,Plaka and the shops. the room was spacious and clean, the bath needs a little updating. and they had a glass frosted door leading into the toilet. what is with that, you could see around the edges, not very private, and the shower had 1/2 or less of a glass door. only problem I saw.
the breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from including home made waffles, the service was always being refilled and hot, wait staff very attentive with coffee refills and anything else we might want. the breakfast room overlooks a beautiful garden.
Thanksgiving night we went to the restaurant upstairs, and enjoyed a wonderful meal and the views of the acropolis were awesome, you felt that you could reach out and touch it.
the Service was unbelievable, they anticipated our every wish, bringing bread, filling our water glasses, refilling wine glasses from our bottle. excellent service and the food was exceptional and quite reasonable for such a classy restaurant. Will definetly return again.only other improvement could be the heat/air condiition , a central system and could not regulate the room we had to leave balcony door open to cool down.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the street, a little noisy if you left window open. but not too bad.

My friend and I needed a girlie weekend away to escape the bustle of London! The hotel was centrally located with gorgeous views of the Acropolis from the restaurant and the rooftop. The food at the restaurant was simply divine (not what one would expect from a hotel restaurant), beautifully presented and very attentive waiters. The staff were very accomodating, helpful and lovely. We stayed 4 days and wished it was longer. I'll highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again!!!

After our marvellous stay at Electra Palace in March, we did book this hotel again when we were going to spend two nights in Athens after our visit to the Cycladic Islands. This time we booked a junior suite instead of a superior room to get some more space. We were extremely lucky and were upgraded to a suite. Two rooms with exquisite furniture and a huge balcony facing Acropolis! The staff was wonderful like last time, no snobbery here (many 5 star hotels do have a snobbish staff). When we arrived, they welcomed us back like old friends do! The breakfast was great, sitting outside in the garden. We lunched at the poolside bar, in between swimming in the pool with Acropolis view. And located in Plaka, everything is so close by!
WE WILL BE BACK!

Room Tip: Please book a superior room with balcony and Acropolis view. (or a (junior) suite).

My wife and I enjoyed a pleasant 5 night stay at this beautifully appointed hotel in the Plaka district of old Athens, on the lower slopes of the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant and open air pool enjoy breathtaking views of the Acropolis and should not be missed. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the Acropolis and overlooking the small city-centre garden area. Hotel appears to be recently refurbished. Lifts worked well. Good buffet style breakfast to suit all tastes. Hotel is well positioned close to Syntagma Square and other attractions and short walk from Monastiraki area. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly and attentive.

Room Tip: Rooms with view of Acropolis are premium priced but we were upgraded without paying a premium. Best...
