Nice hotel clean. Buffet breadfast on 10th floor with acropolis view. Staff was pleasant. Room 509 with small balcony, bathroom was uncomfortable but we were only there to sleep we were never there. This hotel is very close to syntagma square, plaza and monastraki square, busy street especially at night. Must see changing of the guards on Sunday at 11 am but it gets very crowded so go bit early for a good seat. Also meet Leo the stray dog he did the walking tour with us sweet dog. We were able to extend our checkout time by 2 hours free of charge. This hotel uses chat tours and the reception girl book all of our tours she was very nice. Dinner was nice you get a discount if u are a hotel guest. Will stay there again

We had dinner last night at the new X Floor restaurant . The service was exceptional . It was one of our best dinners in the week we travelled in Greece. The vegetable risotto and the sole were delicious. The view of the Acropolis was amazing.

This is a new restaurant and we were able to make a last minute reservation on a Friday night for outdoor seating which is rare in Athens even in the end of October. We would highly recommend the X Floor restaurant.

We booked into the Electra for 6 nights and we found ourselves in the smallest room in the hotel. We booked a double room however we didn’t realise until our arrival that this room would be so small. There was hardly sufficient room to unpack our suitcases - there was a chair and a small desk but with our luggage for a 7 week trip through Europe there were no drawers in which to put our clothes, and personal items. The bathroom was equally small and inadequate for 2 adults. However, the bed was very comfortable, the room and facilities were clean, and the restaurant on level 10 was very good - both for breakfast which was included in the tariff, and dinner where we had a spectacular night time view of the Acropolis. The bar staff downstairs were not very attentive and as the drinks were quite expensive, they should have been more interested in their guests, than talking amongst themselves. The ladies on Reception were helpful and the Porters were quite happy to provide information about local activities. All in all, a reasonable hotel, but the small size of the bedroom made us very pleased to leave - my advice would be to upgrade to a larger room to enjoy this hotel as it is well located.
