Stayed for 1 night. Staff friendly & efficient.
Room small & dark (with dreadful view - ask for a good view!) but clean & adequately equipped with safe & tea & coffee facilities. Korres complimentary products nice.
Loose electrical pull cord inside the shower? Not good
Bed comfy, location excellent. Lot's of bars & cafe & shopping outside front door.
Very much a business hotel. Good choice breakfast, English breakfast going a little past it by 9.30 (hard sautéed potatoes, rubber eggs) but plenty of other things to eat, nice service. Overall, for price, good midrange hotel.

Two stars only due to the location.
The hotel is close to the Metro and surrounded by the main shopping area and great restaurants/bars. Rooms are small and dark, but clean with good AC.
The staff at the reception is very unprofessional and unfriendly. They do not make you feel welcome and handle your questions and request with no care and want to get rid of you as soon as possible. The same is for the breakfast area. I would expect from a 4-starhotel, that they assign sufficient staff to manage the incoming crowd in the morning. However, breakfast was always an unpleasant experience during the 4 days at the hotel. Always a very competitive environment to get a table(as if this is a fast food poace), staff not present or rude and the dishes were either wet or dirty!
In conclusion, the unfriendly staff always ruined my good mood in the morning and I did not feel comfortable at all in this hotel.

located on one of the busiest commercial street of Athens, it is at walking distance of old Athens, Plaka etc. however, with easy access in and out, you can travel away from the crowd very easily. You will also benefit from the parking place at Royale Palace along with the rooftop pool. the room are nice, clean and you have to like the "dark" color.

Electra is beautiful and grand and perfectly located on Ermou St. for great shopping and sight seeing. It is walking distance from Plaka, Acropolis, Syntagma Square as well as great shopping and restaurants. The breakfast is great. It includes everything and then some. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again next time I'm in Athens.
