Awesome experience in a Michelin starred restaurant. Molecularly dissolved tavern dishes and picnic food. Squared peas and aromatized spheres. Barbecue at your table on a hot piece of rock bedded on rosemary. Smoked icecream. Orange peel scented giant shrimp with liquid nitrogen. You get to play a lot with your food. It is entertaining and enchanting to feed yourself on double destilled greek salad sorbet, jellified bacon, lettuce tomatoe sandwich. We had the best burger of our lives. A molecular burger.... A lot of pipetting and forcepsing. The sommelier was also worth the visit. We had awesome wines from all over the planet as well as local wines. Specifically brewed honey beer and so on.
On their website they state that they hire prefessional and amateur chefs who share their love and enthusiasm for food and service. A real temptation to be part of this very special enterprise and team. Thanks for an experience that really blew our minds!
Get your cab driver to drop you in front of the restaurant. The neighbourhood is difficult to walk through when you are a bit dressed up.

it is one of Athen's best dinning destinations. Molecular gastronomy transforms traditional Greek dishes into an amazing experience! Have the degustasion menu in order to get the whole picture. Deco is great, service is excellent, located in a quite place downtown. It is not a cheap place to be, but for me it worths every cent..
Among others... frozen Galaktoboureko (traditional Greek dessert) at -196 degrees was one of my best.

One of the best meals in my life. You can tell that a lot of creativity was done in creating this meal. Food was exceptional. Staff was very attentive and the restaurant was top notch. To add to this Funky Gourmet has one of the best playlists I've ever heard. Mind sharing this with me? From the moment that the pretty receptionist, greets you to the time you get in a cab to go home. You are taken care of. It was money well spent. Thank you for a grand experience.

we have eaten in the Fat Duck when it was voted the 'best 'in the world. we have not eaten in the more recently voted Spanish 'best' - 'gimmicky' restaurants if you like.

We chose the menu according to how long it will take to eat. We were told 1.5 hours, the alternative was over 2 hours. The menu included a selection of wines.

The good points; the restaurant is beautiful , the young staff are excellent and the music is superb. the dinner lasted 1.5 hours, the taxi was ordered and arrived just as we paid the bill (300 euros including tip, a lot for Athens). The bad points? - the food and some of the wines.

Gimmick and tastey is one thing, gimmick and tastless and 'technically '
wrong, is quite another. I did not count how many dishes we were served but enough to get one good one, statistically speaking.

My wife suggested we write down a score out of 10 and exchange notes. We both gave it 4. - need I say more?
I will, we returned to the hotel and ordered a plate of mixed fruit
