I had a late lunch here midweek (Greek salad, moussaka) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There's no reason to repeat what others have said (no menu, fresh and tasty food, reasonable prices, and so forth), but it's worth finding if you want to enjoy a real Greek family meal. While I was there the grandparents came in with the grandkids, all carrying bag after bag of fresh produce from a farmer's market, which the proprietor (middle generation, with his wife cooking) told me is their preferred source because they know everything is fresh and even if it's a little bit more, he likes to support local businesspeople just as he hopes they will support him! No one will ever accuse To Kati Allo of being “upscale,” but if you want authentic Greek food in a down-to-earth setting, this is a good place to find it.

That's right folks, To Kati Allo (The Something Else) doesn't really have a menu because they make fresh food everyday. Some things you can garuntee is that its something new every day, somthing fresh, something Greek, something reasonably priced & something Good. This is a family owned taverna so you'll find the service exceptional & friendly. The location is also good as it is right behind the new Acropolis Museum (maybe a place for lunch after you visit the museum?). We ordered the fish, which was obviously fresh, something we had a hard time finding in the center of Athens (believe it or not). I'd also like to add that English is spoken, which may make it easier for you to order.

Highly recommend the lamb chop. Me and my girlfriend ordered Greek salad, Mousaka and lamb chop at first, and then we added one more plate of lamb chop. really tasty and a plate of lamb chop costs only 8euro, Greek salad only 4euro. The hostess is very kind. Like everything here.

Girls trip to Greece. We went to the Acropolis and were looking for somewhere for lunch. We noticed the sign that said it was Rick Steve's recommended. We ended up eating there 4 times. Food was awesome and the staff very friendly. We had moussaka and greek salad everytime we went. We also tried other dishes and were never disappointed.

Planning another trip to Greece and we will be going here again.
